What's up with sup abs runes?
trader doesn't have them and people who do have 1 are selling for 20-70k o_O last time i checked i think they were like 300 gold or something... so is the trader really paying alot for the rune or are they just scammers? :P

Never pay more than the official price at the shop, even if they are sold out for the moment.

The traders are fubar. They keep on losing runes from their stock and can't rebuild it for some reason. Some runes have completely vanished from the traders though if someone were to sell the trader one he'd offer 25g.

Cosnidering that was majority of sup runes goes directly to merchant thanks to their 25g trader purchase price and human lazyness to check for changes, i am not suprised runes run out every while.
Maybe if merchants gave trader prices for respective goods AND when such item is sold to mechant it would be added to traders stockpile. Great timesaver, ensures that runes are avaiable, and fixes preser dye scam too ...

Wow, superior absorption is not worth anywhere near that. I don't even use one on my PvP warrior armors anymore.

Sup Absorbs are bugged and have been this way since 2005.
They just can't auto restock at trader when sold out.
As long as trader has some in stock everything works fine but when the last one gets purchased, their buy price resets and trader refuses to pay it's old price and no matter how many runes you sell to him his stock will remain 0.
Most other runes work fine - buy out all of a rune, then sell 1, it immediately appears for sale with price unaffected.
I was able to reproduce this bug at beta servers a few days ago - look at screenshot:
As long as trader had at least one, he was paying full price, but after buying last he got 'bugged'.
(the high price of 48k buy was because prices on beta were stuck at their level from around Factions release)
This is happening on live server from time to time as this bug hasn't yet been fixed.

Ah crap, they haven't gone back up to 90k again, have they? *Groan*
Here's hoping people selling them for 70k are way overpricing them.

Well, the way I see it, Sup Absorb is no longer worth bringing on a warrior. The 3 damage is average, even vs all damage. But it's only vs physical. So there's really no point bringing it over say, Vitae, or Clarity/Restoration. Since a lot of people also think this way, they aren't buying the runes, or selling to trader as they don't have them.

WHY you need a reduction of 3 PHYSICAL damage in a Warrior? This is madness!

runes are global.
Knight's armor isn't.
Off the top of my head uses of -physical damage:
Any form of melee mob farming
Any form of ranger mob farming
So yeh, they aren't very useful.

IMO, every PvE warrior should use a sup abs. It makes a difference.

Please please please crash superior vigor.
If this bug is true, we can really screw with the economy even more.
Crash ecto, too.

I usually sell my runed armors if I'm sure they won't give more than 25 gp for the rune and I risk losing the armor which is worth usually almost 200gp... So why use Rune Trader? So just ID them, see if it's worth salving, if not, sell the whole armor to merchant.
